Faculty Fireside Chat, Humanities/Social Sciences Edition (Tuesday, May 17th)

All are welcome, regardless of your field of study or membership status!

This panel features allies from the humanities and social sciences: 

  • Marcia Grabowecky is a member of the Psychology department. She was part of the Non-Tenure Eligible Faculty unionization process, and actually delivered the letter of intent to unionize to the administration.
  • Helen Thompson is a professor in the English department and served as the DGS for three years from 2014-2017. She was also involved in the Faculty Senate and has seen the issues that graduate students face while at Northwestern from an administrative perspective.

This will be a space to ask questions about faculty perspectives on student unionization, and to build solidarity!
